The Man With a 10-Year Blueprint — Dr Kervis Soo’s Vision for the ASEAN AI Entertainment Ecosystem

A Blueprint, Not a Series of Bets

From the outside, the portfolio of activities that Dr Kervis Soo and Xingyu Group are engaged in can appear overwhelming in its diversity: MCN recruitment, short drama production, film investment, AI tool development, blockchain philanthropy, creator mentorship, senior care township planning. But viewed through the lens of his overarching vision — to build the ASEAN AI entertainment ecosystem — every element occupies a specific, intentional position. This is not a portfolio of bets. It is a blueprint being executed across multiple time horizons simultaneously.

Year 1 to 3: Foundation and Proof of Concept

The current phase of Xingyu Group's development is focused on building the foundational elements of the ecosystem: recruiting the first wave of content creators, establishing platform credibility through the VYBE and VSTAR brands, proving the BeEZ model for transparent philanthropy, and entering the film industry as an investor with the 2025 Chinese New Year production. Each of these initiatives generates data, credibility and network effects that will compound as the ecosystem grows.

Year 3 to 7: Scale and Standardisation

The middle phase of Dr Kervis Soo's blueprint involves scaling what works and standardising it into replicable systems. The 1,000-creator model becomes 10,000. The AI content tools move from experimental to operational. The BeEZ platform expands to cover more corporate partners and more charitable causes. The Asian Music Festival and other cultural events establish Xingyu Group as a cultural institution, not just a commercial platform. This is where the ecosystem achieves the critical mass that makes it self-sustaining.

Year 7 to 10: Regional Dominance and Legacy

The long-term horizon of the blueprint is regional dominance in the ASEAN Chinese creator economy and the establishment of a lasting institutional legacy. The RM100 million senior care township, when realised, will be a physical monument to the philosophy of 以商养善 — using business to sustain charity. The creator ecosystem, by this stage, will have produced hundreds of successful content careers and contributed meaningfully to the economic mobility of Southeast Asia's Chinese diaspora communities.

Why This Blueprint Is Credible

Ambitious blueprints are common. Credible ones are rare. What makes Dr Kervis Soo's 10-year vision credible is the combination of three things that rarely appear together: two decades of relevant experience across digital communities, direct sales, MCN operations and AI research; a track record of consistent charitable giving that predates any commercial success; and the intellectual infrastructure of a Doctor of Management and an AI Honorary Fellowship from Lincoln University. These are not decorative credentials. They are evidence of a person who has spent his entire adult life preparing to build exactly what he is now building. The ASEAN AI entertainment ecosystem pioneer is not a title he is claiming. It is a role he has been growing into for thirty years.
